The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has released photos of two police officers who were captured on CCTV footage stealing narcotics worth millions of shillings.
The two who have been identified as Cpl. Alloys Onyango and Constable Arbanus Mutunga stole over 25 kilograms of heroin which had been confiscated from drug traffickers.
The DCI said that the two officers were arrested by Serious Crime Detectives.
According to the investigators, the serious crime detectives used Peter Okoth Odongo who has been identified as a drug trafficker, to lure two other drug traffickers.
Alfric Odhiambo Otieno and Kenneth Sinzore were ambushed after taking the drugs from the suspect.
The statement released by the DCI said that no one will be spared as the fight against drug trafficking intensifies.
