Bandari FC caretaker coach Twahir Muhiddin has asked his charges to show their strength during Saturday’s Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash against Posta Rangers in Narok.
Bandari lost 3-0 to Gor Mahia FC in rude welcome for Muhiddin who was handling the team for only the first time since his return to the club.
But the Dockers warmed up for the trip with a 10-0 demolition of Kaloleni Allstars in a midweek friendly at the Mbaraki Sports Club.
“I have experienced players who are ready to correct their mistakes and score a lot of goals in Narok,” Muhiddin said.
Muhiddin will be without Yema Mwana who is still nursing an injury and will depend more on Wycliff Ochomo who scored 4 goals in the friendly.
“Every player in my squad is a scorer though Ochomo will be the main one but everyone can score.” He added, “Yema is still out but he will return soon as the plaster has been removed from his legs.”
In the first leg in Mombasa, Bandari were held by Posta to a one all draw where Shaban Kenga cancel out Francis Nabwire goal to share the spoils.
Bandari are 11th in the table with 18 points after 17 rounds while Posta who have collected 28 points from 18 matches are in position 8.
Elsewhere, Gor will look to consolidate their lead when they take on Nzoia Sugar with the champions having ascended to the summit during the midweek .
Kakamega Homeboyz are only a point behind Gor and will hope to keep up when they host Wazito FC while third-placed Tusker FC are out of action until February 9.
