Bandari caretaker boss Twahir Muhiddin has vowed to bring back the coastal based side to winning ways, after enduring a tough season which recently orchestrated the sacking of his predecessor Bernard Mwalala.
The Dockers 11th in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) with 18 points from 16 outings, underscoring change of fortunes after quite impressive two past seasons.
Successive first runners up spots in the KPL and an FKF Shield gong under Mwalala elevated Bandari’s status in their recent history domestically, consequently growing the quest for more glory.
With the exit of Mwalala, Muhiddin is breathing new hope to the fans and the management ahead of a trip to Gor Mahia in their next league assignment.

Despite coming from a 2-1 defeat in the hands of league leaders Tusker FC at Mbaraki Sports Club, the former Harembee Stars gaffer is convinced their upturn must start with a result against the 18-time champions.
“We have to restore the energy and belief in our players. We want to get back to where we belong. We have to win our matches and this is not even debatable. If we win against Gor or KCB which are our next fixtures, I believe the confidence will be restored,” the soft spoken tactician confidently told.
On the same note, Muhiddin has issued a rallying call to their supporters as they look to steady the ship.
“Our fans should not give up. I urge them to come and support the team. The downward trajectory is sometimes normal, we call it football cycle but if they can give us the support we need, things might change,” offered the coach.
A win against third placed Gor will mean a good start for Muhiddin, whose vast experience in the local league is considered the main reason for his engagement until the end of the season.
