Speaking at AIPCA Church in Tetu while attending the Holy Week Service, Ruto said that he was saddened the death of the brilliant student.
He apologized for not attending the funeral before sending his message his heart felt condolence.
“I was not able to attend the funeral where the other leaders have been and I’d like to send my condolences to the family and friends of Ivy,” he stated.
He also urged parents to guide their children in Godly ways to avoid such cases in future.
“We should also, as parents, know that it is our responsibility to guide our children even those who are in University to avoid such reckless deaths,” he added.
